Presenter's Biography:

Mr. Eddie Sean was called to the Victorian Bar and the HK Bar in 1986 and 1999 respectively. He is experienced in dealing with criminal cases. He joined the then HK Attorney General's Chambers (now Department of Justice) as a Crown Counsel in 1986, and was promoted to the rank of Senior Crown Counsel in 1988.

In 1993, he departed Hong Kong to practise as a solicitor in Sydney. In 1995, he re-joined the then HK Attorney General's Chambers as a Senior Crown Counsel. In 2006, he was promoted to the rank of Deputy Principal Government Counsel, holding the post of Senior Assistant Director of Public Prosecutions until he retired in Dec 2019. He now practises at the private Bar.

Mr. Sean appeared in numerous Court of Final Appeal and Court of Appeal cases. He has prosecuted and defended numerous ICAC, complex commercial crime, and money laundering cases.

Mr. Sean has also delivered talks for the ICAC, Police Detective Training School, Immigration Department, and Criminal Advocacy Courses of the Department of Justice on many occasions.
